Daniel Loher is a Munich based cinematographer and steadicam operator shooting mainly series and featuers for television, cinema, documentaries and commercials. He is adventurous, dedicated and passionate about film and has been shooting in countires all over the world. After having worked as a steadicam operator in the film & television industry for over 10 years, Daniel made his debut as a cinematographer with the award winning shortfilm „Outlier“, (2014) starring Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter), Jean Marsh (Return to Oz), Antje Traue (Man of Steel) and Ed Stoppard (The Pianist).
Daniel is consantly expanding his cinematographic skills and stays up to date with the latest filmmaking technology. In 2015 Daniel graduated from the ASC Cinematography Masterclass in Hollywood where he was able to expand his skills, learning from some of the worlds best cinematographers such as John Bailey ASC, Guillermo Navarro ASC, Roberto Schaefer ASC AIC, Daryn Okada ASC and many more.Daniels passion, experience, dedication and his eye for detail have contributed to make him an internationally valued steadicam operator and cinematographer. One of his personal strengths that many have found to be indispensible, is his inconspicuous way and his ability to remain focused in a hectic and nervous environmt.Daniel studied film in Los Angeles and London. He graduated with a distinction in cinematography from the Lonon Film School in 2004.
